How To Backup Registry

Post by Admin on 10th June 2009, 5:14 pm

Before editing the registry, it's always better to make a complete backup of the system registry.

Here is a quick way to perform a backup:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.

2. Type regedit in the Open dialog box and click OK.

3. Right-click the top most node in the list in Registry Editor and click Export.

Type the name for the backup file and click OK.
